Stimulus Package is online just in time for vote

President Barack Obama promised that each bill would be posted online so the American public could see what is inside the bill for five days prior to its signing. This promise has been broken twice so far, and is about to be broken for it's third time. this makes Obama 0-3 on this promise.

Obama promised transparency and I can see right through this. I don't even know how the word "transparency" can be a good thing. By definition, the word means "fine or sheer enough to be seen through." Down the list of the possible meanings of the word from Merriam-Webster is what Obama defines as transparency: "free from pretense or deceit, easily detected or seen through, readily understood, characterized by visibility or accessibility of information especially concerning business practices."

Obama said five days. This bill was posted online this morning. It will be voted on tonight because House Speaker Nancy Pelosi has to be in Rome tomorrow for some reason, maybe a well-deserved vacation.

Below are the pdf's of the "stimulus" package and it's 1,071 pages of fun:
"American Recovery and Reinvestment- Conference Report (from http://appropriations.house.gov )
Bill Text-Division A
Bill Text- Division B
Bill Text- Signatures of Managers
Joint Statement- Division A
Joint Statement- Division B

It'll be interesting what this bill will do to America. Will it help or hurt? By looking at the Dow Jones Industrial Average, I think I have a clue, all it does is drop. How far will it drop now?
