Ted Turner, the CNN founder and former athiest, has an idea on why there have been some recent disasters.
He says, "I’m not a real religious person, but I’m somewhat religious. And I’m just wondering if God is telling us he doesn’t want us to drill offshore," in a CNN interview.
He added, "And right before that we had that coal mine disaster in West Virginia where we lost 29 miners," as well as repeated mining disasters – "seems like there’s one over there every week" – in China.
"Maybe the Lord’s tired of having the mountains of West Virginia, the tops knocked off of them so they can get more coal. I think maybe we ought to just leave the coal in the ground and go with solar and wind power and geo-thermals where it’s applicable."
He also added saying the the United States is the biggest polluter in the world.
Well, I disagree with him considering that God is upset with oil and coal and wants us to use green energy.
I'm not against green energy, it is good too, but don't eliminate what works and is cheap. Oil is cheap.

CNN: What will Obama tell the Muslim world? Obama looks to reach the soul of the Muslim world
I like all the generalizations that the liberal media is saying about President Barack Obama's upcoming speech in Cairo. He is speaking to the entire "Muslim World." Wow. That is really something. So when he speaks to a group like the NAACP, is he speaking to the entire black world?
I thought journalists weren't supposed to write in generalities. He is speaking to Egypt, or better yet, Cairo. I thought journalists were supposed to make a point. I don't know if a Muslim in Indonesia cares as much as a Muslim in Egypt. I'm just saying.
Journalists should ask things like: "What does this mean to you?" and "Why should anyone care?"
CNN is just doing what CBS and NBC are also doing. Speaking in generalities and praising the anointed one because he is bringing peace to the Middle East. He is bringing hope to them. As we all know, we all have a different opinion on hope. We are all hoping for something different. The thing is that many Muslims are hoping for the destruction of Israel. Is that good hoping?
I wonder if Obama will admit to being a Muslim? He is already talking about his father being a devout Muslim. It is all out in the open now. During the campaign it was in bad taste to say Obama was a Muslim, but now, he talks freely about his "Muslim heritage."
And why not just say something that the Egyptians would love to hear? It'll keep them coming back for more and it would gain instant friendship with the Islamic states in the Middle East and lose a close ally of Israel. But what's so bad if you lose one friend and gain many? Really?

Greg Gutfeld: The media makes fun because they have no control
Fox News' Greg Gutfeld has some good points. He may be on at 3 a.m., but he knows it when he sees it. The media is upset because these anti-tax tea party protesters don't like big government. But what is with the sick humor. It makes me wonder who these people are who watch MSNBC. MSNBC, the so-called "place for politics."

Keith Olbermann and Janeane Garofalo attack Fox News and call conservatives racists. This is awful. Imagine if this was on Fox News. Fox would be attacked and people would want it off the air, but MSNBC can do what it wants.

Rachel Maddow has more to say too. What is with this humor? This is the real America. Wake up Maddow! I know Miss Maddow loves big government and worships Obama, but wake up.
Olbermann begins with Obama at Georgetown University with no Jesus in sight and MSNBC is cheering. Let's begin massive big government spending. Then it's time to attack Fox News.

Take another look at the 8 p.m. and 10 p.m. time slots. Keith Olbermann has dropped to third place. Nancy Grace is now bulldozing over Olbermann's show. Olbermann better stop focusing his attacks on O'Reilly and take some of that anger at Nancy Grace.
