MSNBC can't get enough of Limbaugh, Fox News

MSNBC's Chris Matthews knows his base. The left wing President Barack Obama worshipers.
So he and his guests go on and attack Rush Limbaugh and Fox News on Monday. I don't know why he would do that other than hopes that the ratings of both rub off on him. But, that's not happening.

Communist Olbermann attacks Limbaugh because he has nothing better to do

I agree with Rush. President Obama is trying to ruin America. He is doing his best to destroy America. He wants to "spread the wealth." In other words, make us all poor together.

MSNBC needs Limbaugh. MSNBC will not dare hurt Obama's image. General Electric is in the bed with Obama.

Wanda Sykes jokes about Rush Limbaugh, 9-11 at WH Correspondents' Dinner

Comedian Wanda Sykes is an idiot. Wake up. Do you not know about what Rush Limbaugh truly said? She joked about 9-11. You do not do that. She is one of the liberals of today. Heartless.

Fairness Doctrine getting more talk in Washington, or is it?

Sen. Debbie Stabenow, D-Mich., has been getting a lot of airtime in the last couple weeks. She did say that she was in support of the "Fairness Doctrine," which only silences conservative talk radio. She has close ties to the liberal talk radio world because her husband has owned various liberal radio stations.

This idea of the "Fairness Doctrine" being reintroduced into law may happen, but nothing is official yet, according to the Detroit News. The Detroit News with Politico.com say that "no member of Congress has scheduled hearings, there is no Fairness Doctrine legislation being introduced, and the long-dormant broadcast law is likely to stay that way."

Stabenow may be talking about the "Fairness Doctrine" but nothing is going to change, at least they say that now.

Former President Bill Clinton is also speaking his two cents about the "Fairness Doctrine" these days. He spoke to the Politico:

"Well, you either ought to have the Fairness Doctrine or we ought to have more balance on the other side," Clinton said, "because essentially there's always been a lot of big money to support the right wing talk shows and let face it, you know, Rush Limbaugh is fairly entertaining even when he is saying things that I think are ridiculous."

The Democrats may not like Rush Limbaugh, Sean Hannity, Glenn Beck and others, but they also don't want to see AM radio die. So if they want AM radio to survive, they better not mess with bringing back the "Fairness Doctrine."

Here is a video from Fox News today about this topic:

The Liberal Attack on Talk Radio Begins

First off, here's the news:

WASHINGTON -- February 5, 2009: Sen. Debbie Stabenow (D-MI) told nationally syndicated talk host Bill Press this morning that the recent flips of liberal Talk stations in several markets were a "disservice to the public."

Stabenow said that, in the day of the Fairness Doctrine, "you had to have balance," and continued, "I think something that requires that in a market with owners that have multiple stations that they have got to have balance -- there has to be some community interest -- balance, you know, standard that says both sides have to be heard."

Stabenow told Press that the airwaves are "dominated by one view" that "overwhelms people's opinions -- and, unfortunately, incorrectly," and said that "right-wing conservative talk hosts" are "trying to make people angry and saying all kinds of things that aren't true and so on."

When Press asked if it is time to bring back the Fairness Doctrine, Stabenow responded, "I think it's absolutely time to pass a standard." To Press' inquiry as to whether she will push for hearings in the Seante "to bring these owners in and hold them accountable," Stabenow replied, "I have already had some discussions with colleagues, and, you know, I feel like that's going to happen. Yep."

Source: RadioInk: SENATOR: TALK RADIO HEARINGS COULD BE ON THE WAY

This is just the beginning. Rush Limbaugh was attacked a couple weeks ago when he said he wanted Obama's policies to fail and that translated into he wanted Obama to fail. Then Barack Obama said to GOP members in Congress to stop listening to Rush Limbaugh.

Limbaugh, Glenn Beck and Sean Hannity have been getting attacked by the liberal media and the Obama crones. One big issue that is near and dear to Al Gore's heart is global warming. The big three on the radio dial all say that global warming is not an issue. They all say the sun warms the Earth and say that humans are not responsible for weather. Many liberals and Al Gore have compared people who don't believe in global warming to people who are Holocaust deniers and people who were against civil rights.

Obama and liberals do not want to be criticized. They want the entire media to be on their side, much like MSNBC already is. CNN is close, but still has some Obama dissenters. Fox News doesn't bow down to Obama. CBS News and NBC News love Obama. The liberals control practically every television news outlet, newspaper and political magazine, but they still haven't figured out talk radio.

The trick with talk radio is you have to talk for two to three hours and still stay interesting. AirAmerica Radio was a failed attempt by the liberals, but they continue to try to make it on the few stations they have.

The sad thing is that the one AirAmerica radio program that was somewhat popular was the Rachel Maddow Show and she's now on MSNBC to fulfill their liberal requirements. I hear she is still on AirAmerica, so it may be getting more popular with her on MSNBC.

In my opinion, the reason liberal talk radio has never worked is that the liberals have control of television and newspapers. As a liberal, why would you want to listen to liberal talk if you get it all day with the New York Times, Washington Post, Comedy Central's Daily Show and Colbert Report, NBC News, CBS News and MSNBC already. The reason conservative talk radio has been a success is that traditionally there has been no conservative voice on television and in the newspaper.

And now the liberals want total control within the media with the "Fairness Doctrine." And this title of a doctrine couldn't be further from the truth, this is a suppressing doctrine. It takes the freedom of speech away from people.

Why destroy AM radio when conservative talk saved it. If there was no Rush Limbaugh, would you be listening to AM radio? If there was no Rush, there would be no ESPN Radio, Dr. Laura, Clark Howard Show, O'Reilly Radio Factor, Coast to Coast AM and surprisingly enough, AirAmerica.

A listener doesn't like Michael Savage because he isn't fair in this time of change:

Diane Feinstein loves the "Fairness Doctrine" (Fox News)

Dennis Kucinich also loves the "Fairness Doctrine" (CNN)

Limbaugh did nothing wrong

I was watching CNN last evening and they were having a field day during CNN Newsroom about something Rush Limbaugh said. The host of the 3 p.m. segment of the show Rick Sanchez kept displaying Facebook, Twitter and CNN blog posts that were negative about Limbaugh. People were writing that Limbaugh was a racist, idiot and many other demeaning things. These people are idiots.

Rush did nothing wrong. He spoke about what he believes. He has the First Amendment right to speak. And anyway, what he said was not racist and it was not demeaning. His quote had nothing to do with President Barack Obama. It was about his policies and not the color of his skin. Limbaugh is against socialism, he wants capitalism to succeed. But people don't care, apparently. They say Rush is racist and an idiot.

CNN and all other news outlets that aired this video should be ashamed of themselves for not reporting the whole truth. Get the whole context and not just a sound bite. Wake up!

Below is the video of Rush Limbaugh on Fox News' Hannity Show:

Besides saying that Limbaugh wants Obama's policies to fail, a Green Bay Middle School aired the Rush Limbaugh Show's coverage of the inauguration. This upset some people because Rush made comments, as he always does! But this is different, apparently. Limbaugh also made comments during President George W. Bush's conferences and any other important person who was talking during his three-hour show

By the way, Limbaugh offered the school to teach civics and take some of the students on a ride on his private jet to learn about economics and eat pizza, he said on his radio show today.

WLUK: Limbaugh commentary...

Obama forgets his opponent, attacks Limbaugh

The last time I checked, Rush Limbaugh was not running for president. But, why is he shown in a Barack Obama Campaign attack ad? Limbaugh and John McCain do not agree on most issues. And, Limbaugh has not even endorsed McCain. But, the Obama Campaign says that by Limbaugh criticizing Obama that means that he endorses McCain.

The Obama Campaign took Limbaugh's words out of context when he had a segment he titled "Limbaugh Laws" where he described the immigration laws of Mexico. If you want to hear the real context of Limbaugh, click this link below:
Rush Limbaugh's actual words on tape

Now after hearing the true context of Limbaugh, here is the Obama ad titled "Dos Caras" where he attacks Limbaugh

Rush Responds to Obama Campaign with WSJ Op-Ed

Word of advise to the Obama Campaign, focus on your opponent and not on Rush Limbaugh. Limbaugh is too smart for your campaign and he will not sit still and be attacked. This only shows that the Obama Campaign is getting desperate.

A Look Back On A LA Times Column

Obama the 'Magic Negro'

The Illinois senator lends himself to white America's idealized, less-than-real black man.

By David Ehrenstein, L.A.-based DAVID EHRENSTEIN writes about Hollywood and politics.

March 19, 2007 (Link to LA Times site)

AS EVERY CARBON-BASED life form on this planet surely knows, Barack Obama, the junior Democratic senator from Illinois, is running for president. Since making his announcement, there has been no end of commentary about him in all quarters — musing over his charisma and the prospect he offers of being the first African American to be elected to the White House.

But it's clear that Obama also is running for an equally important unelected office, in the province of the popular imagination — the "Magic Negro."

The Magic Negro is a figure of postmodern folk culture, coined by snarky 20th century sociologists, to explain a cultural figure who emerged in the wake of Brown vs. Board of Education. "He has no past, he simply appears one day to help the white protagonist," reads the description on Wikipedia http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Magical_Negro .

He's there to assuage white "guilt" (i.e., the minimal discomfort they feel) over the role of slavery and racial segregation in American history, while replacing stereotypes of a dangerous, highly sexualized black man with a benign figure for whom interracial sexual congress holds no interest.

As might be expected, this figure is chiefly cinematic — embodied by such noted performers as Sidney Poitier, Morgan Freeman, Scatman Crothers, Michael Clarke Duncan, Will Smith and, most recently, Don Cheadle. And that's not to mention a certain basketball player whose very nickname is "Magic."

Poitier really poured on the "magic" in "Lilies of the Field" (for which he won a best actor Oscar) and "To Sir, With Love" (which, along with "Guess Who's Coming to Dinner," made him a No. 1 box-office attraction). In these films, Poitier triumphs through yeoman service to his white benefactors. "Guess Who's Coming to Dinner" is particularly striking in this regard, as it posits miscegenation without evoking sex. (Talk about magic!)

The same can't quite be said of Freeman in "Driving Miss Daisy," "Seven" and the seemingly endless series of films in which he plays ersatz paterfamilias to a white woman bedeviled by a serial killer. But at least he survives, unlike Crothers in "The Shining," in which psychic premonitions inspire him to rescue a white family he barely knows and get killed for his trouble. This heart-tug trope is parodied in Gus Van Sant's "Elephant." The film's sole black student at a Columbine-like high school arrives in the midst of a slaughter, helps a girl escape and is immediately gunned down. See what helping the white man gets you?

And what does the white man get out of the bargain? That's a question asked by John Guare in "Six Degrees of Separation," his brilliant retelling of the true saga of David Hampton — a young, personable gay con man who in the 1980s passed himself off as the son of none other than the real Sidney Poitier. Though he started small, using the ruse to get into Studio 54, Hampton discovered that countless gullible, well-heeled New Yorkers, vulnerable to the Magic Negro myth, were only too eager to believe in his baroque fantasy. (One of the few who wasn't fooled was Andy Warhol, who was astonished his underlings believed Hampton's whoppers. Clearly Warhol had no need for the accouterment of interracial "goodwill.")

But the same can't be said of most white Americans, whose desire for a noble, healing Negro hasn't faded. That's where Obama comes in: as Poitier's "real" fake son.

The senator's famously stem-winding stump speeches have been drawing huge crowds to hear him talk of uniting rather than dividing. A praiseworthy goal. Consequently, even the mild criticisms thrown his way have been waved away, "magically." He used to smoke, but now he doesn't; he racked up a bunch of delinquent parking tickets, but he paid them all back with an apology. And hey, is looking good in a bathing suit a bad thing?

The only mud that momentarily stuck was criticism (white and black alike) concerning Obama's alleged "inauthenticty," as compared to such sterling examples of "genuine" blackness as Al Sharpton and Snoop Dogg. Speaking as an African American whose last name has led to his racial "credentials" being challenged — often several times a day — I know how pesky this sort of thing can be.

Obama's fame right now has little to do with his political record or what he's written in his two (count 'em) books, or even what he's actually said in those stem-winders. It's the way he's said it that counts the most. It's his manner, which, as presidential hopeful Sen. Joe Biden ham-fistedly reminded us, is "articulate." His tone is always genial, his voice warm and unthreatening, and he hasn't called his opponents names (despite being baited by the media).

Like a comic-book superhero, Obama is there to help, out of the sheer goodness of a heart we need not know or understand. For as with all Magic Negroes, the less real he seems, the more desirable he becomes. If he were real, white America couldn't project all its fantasies of curative black benevolence on him.

Operation Chaos: Phase II has caught on

Yesterday (July 9) Rush Limbaugh announced on his program his intentions on phase two of "Operation Chaos." If you are an avid listener, you know exactly what this is. But if you are not, here is a brief explanation: Barack Obama has sent out an open invitation to take part in the campaign’s effort to democratize the party platform. Check out RushLimbaugh.com for more details.

Below is from ABC News
---------------------------------------

Limbaugh Begins Second Phase of 'Chaos'

July 09, 2008 3:19 PM

ABC News' Steven Portnoy Reports: Rush Limbaugh, opening the second phase of his “Operation Chaos” campaign to make mischief within the Democratic Party, called on his millions of listeners Wednesday to take part in the Sen. Barack Obama campaign’s effort to democratize the party platform.

In announcing his latest “orders from headquarters,” Limbaugh called “all forward position troops in the 50 states – make that 57 states” to alert. (During the primary campaign, Obama mistakenly said that he had visited “57 states.”)

Limbaugh, who is now referring to the presumptive Democratic nominee as “the Most Merciful Messiah, Lord Obama,” urged his audience to attend open meetings at which the Democratic platform will be discussed.

“This year, with the blessings of the Messiah, Lord Obama, the process of writing the Democrat party platform will be open to the public. Do you see where we’re headed here?” the nation’s number-one commercial talk radio host suggestively asked.

This week, the Obama campaign and the Democratic National Committee announced plans to hold meetings in all 50 states to get voters involved in planning the document which details the principles, philosophies and goals of the party.

“You will be allowed to sit in the same room as elitist Democrat operatives to craft the Democrat party platform,” Limbaugh told his audience – estimated by industry trade magazine "Talkers" to exceed 14 million listeners a week.

“In coming days, we will tell you exactly how you can participate in writing the Democrat party platform, at the request of the Most Merciful Lord Barack Obama.”

During the first phase of the talk host’s “Operation Chaos,” Limbaugh called on fans to vote for Sen. Hillary Clinton, D-N.Y., in open Democratic primaries, to belabor the process and leave both Clinton and Obama bloodied.

While no empirical evidence exists to back up his claims, Limbaugh maintains the effort was a success.

On his program Wednesday, Limbaugh also called on his listeners to enter themselves into the Obama campaign’s lottery of donors who will be chosen to meet Obama backstage before his nomination acceptance speech at INVESCO Field at Mile High in Denver.

Obama Vows to Disarm America (thanks Rush)

Democratic Party candidate for President of the United States of America has vowed to destroy America's defenses. Plain and Simple. Might as well invite every terrorist on January 20 because there will be nothing we can do about it.

First, Obama says high gas prices are fine. Second, he says NO to drilling for oil in Alaska. Third, he says NO to off-shore oil drilling. He is not for working-class Americans, he is out for himself and the lobbyists that he says he does not have. His lobbyists are people when caught, he just dissociates with. "Oh, I don't know him. He doesn't work for my campaign." You know, he's said that numerous times and the media just says, "ok, we believe you, you are the savior after all."

Rush Limbaugh has posted this video on his website. It is Barack Obama's plan on destroying the country that we love.

This video is also on the Barack Obama Official Campaign Website. It is not a hoax.

This is the same guy that said he would be diplomatic to terrorists and Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, the President of Iran. In 2009, Iran will have a clear shot on attacking the United States and Israel.

Obama says he does not back down on promises. Remember he promises to disarm America.
