Dems reach deal on 'climate change' bill, sends it to House
This bill that will be passed since the Democrats have control of both houses of Congress would impose nationwide limits on carbon gases emitted from power plants, factories and cars. It's already in the plans for Government Motors, I bet.

Pelosi feels at home in China, appeals for help on climate change
House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif., spoke at Beijing's elite Tsinghua University today and urged Beijing to cooperate with the United States on climate change. It's funny at how "global warming" is now called "climate change." Is it because the globe isn't warming? It is just changing and we all know (jokingly) that the Earth's temperature has never changed.
While at the university, a student asked Pelosi a question on how the Americans would cut back on their carbon emissions. Pelosi responded saying: "We have so much room for improvement. Every aspect of our lives must be subjected to an inventory...of how we are taking responsibility."

MSNBC's Matthews attacks Pence on evolution, global warming
Chris Matthews, a socialist Democrat who follows the General Electric company line, forgets about what it means to be objective. He forgets about his own values. He claims he is a Roman Catholic, yet he does not practice what he is preached in the church and the Holy Bible.
All Matthews does is try his best to make the Republican Party look bad. Just a year ago, Matthews criticized Obama because he was a Hillary Clinton supporter, but now he gets tingly feelings when he just hears Obama's name. This is company line.
And, he talks about global warming 'believers' as if it's like a religion. Then comes evolution. Matthews believes in it, because he follows the GE line. 'Evolutionary belief' he calls it. More religion that is not Christianity for Matthews.
Matthews is an angry man. He needs help.
Attack, attack, attack. Matthews hates Republicans. MSNBC hates Republicans. General Electric wants to make money, so they love global warming. It's all about profit. MSNBC is GE propaganda.
Here's the video of Mike Pence (R-IN) on Hardball with Chris Matthews:

NBC Green Week next week because 'Green is Universal'
Here is a "Green Week" preview story as NBC-Universal is going to brainwash America next week. I thought it would be good to get a head start on them. The following article is courtesy of Universal Press Syndicate and the Kansas City Star.

Dear Abby | ‘Green’ businesses are seeing green, too
DEAR ABBY: I am 8 years old, and I love science. I am writing you because when I go to the doughnut shop, they always give me paper bags when I order my doughnut to eat there. I also notice other people getting bags they don’t need because they are eating their doughnuts there, too.
How many trees have to die for no reason?
I care about recycling and how long it takes for things to break down in the earth. What can I do so the doughnut shop will stop wasting bags? — Mandi in Scarsdale, N.Y.
DEAR MANDI: I respect the fact that you are conscientious about how your actions — and the actions of the people around you — affect the environment. You are a sharp young lady.
What you should do is speak to the manager of the doughnut shop. Tell him or her that these days a strong selling point in many businesses is that they are “going green.” In the case of the doughnut shop, it would cost them less and even gain them more customers if they would stop handing out bags to customers who are eating their doughnuts on the premises and tell them why. (A piece of waxed paper would suffice and create less waste.)
Readers, if you are interested in how long it takes the items we toss into our landfills to decompose, I found the following illuminating.
Read on:
•Paper, 2 to 5 months
•Orange peels, 6 months
•Milk cartons, 5 years
•Filter-tip cigarettes, 10 to 12 years
•Plastic bags, 10 to 20 years
•Leather shoes, 24 to 40 years
•Plastic containers, 50 to 80 years
•Disposable diapers, 75 years
•Tin cans, 100 years
•Aluminum cans, 200 to 500 years
•Styrofoam, never

STOP BREATHING!!! SAVE THE EARTH!!!
I was just listening to the CBS News Radio Round-up and it said that President Barack Obama is going to take global warming seriously. The radio report blamed carbon dioxide as a major reason of global warming. So, according to these global warming scientists nut jobs it is our fault. After all, humans breathe. And humans are not the only problem. If you have a cat or dog at your home, your property is a global warming hot spot.
Al Gore has brought this on.
In a story I read from the Deseret News said carbon dioxide is causing the temperature to increase, especially in Alaska and the Mountain West. I say bears, birds and other wild animals are to blame, not just humans. How many humans are in Alaska, exactly?
Also in this article it said reduced carbon dioxide would significantly lessen predicted future droughts on the Pacific Coast and flooding in the Northeast. Hmmmm, you know, I might enjoy a drought in these areas. These two regions may deserve it. They are home to the global warming nuts, nutty politicians, gay marriage activists and they don't believe in God.
The article then says that much of Europe, Russia, China and Australia would see the biggest temperature benefits if there was reduced carbon emissions. You know, who really cares. It said that there would be more rain in the Mediterranean, Caribbean and North Africa. Come on, how would they know this? They are just making stuff up now.
Global warming nut jobs hate oil too. They hate the traditional light bulb.
If people would actually look at weather and climatology seriously, they would see that this is normal. Yet, the liberal wackos only see it their way.

Al Gore: I know more than your parents
The video is from today's Glenn Beck Program on Fox News Channel. Al Gore really loves global warming.
Gore: Children, don't listen to your parents, listen to me about global warming
Al Gore says that older people aren't that smart. He compares global warming to civil rights in the 1950s and 1960s. Only Al Gore is right and the parents are wrong. Comrades, this has been done before as Glenn Beck has said in the audio below. He is right. If you are going to begin a revolution, you have to brainwash the youth. Al Gore knows his history.
The students were invited to hear a speech from Al Gore at the Presidential Youth Inaugural Conference in Washington, D.C. on January 17. These 12- and 13-year-old children some of the brightest science students across the United States. Start young and brainwash so in the future global warming will become the accepted truth about weather.
The audio is from the Glenn Beck radio show on Tuesday.

Save the candy from global warming!
I have heard about these commercials, but I had never seen it. Until now. I was watching ESPN's SportsCenter today, you know their LIVE morning edition. Then I saw it. A Reese's ad saying to stop global warming or all the Reese's will melt.
Oh, no! That struck me. I must now stop global warming to save my precious candy bar.
Come on! Is this a nation full of idiots? What is the Hershey's ad campaign thinking? Apparently they are not. I do believe Hershey's has smokestacks and Al Gore says that smokestacks are bad. This is just hilarious!
Here is the ad from YouTube and listen to the music (chilling isn't it?):

Gore Wants Americans to Ditch Oil
You know by now what I think about ditching oil. This is not a solution. This creates a larger problem that no one seems to have an answer to. On second thought, let's just ditch oil right now and see what happens. It won't be good, believe me. (Read previous blog entries)

Gore challenges US to ditch oil
The Nobel laureate and former US vice- president, Al Gore, has urged Americans to abandon electricity generated by fossil fuels within a decade.
Mr Gore compared the scale of the challenge to that of putting a man on the moon in the 1960s.
He said it did not make sense that the US was borrowing money from China to burn oil from the Middle East which then contributed to climate change.
Critics say weaning the US off fossil fuels is not possible within a decade.
Mr Gore, who won the Nobel Peace Prize last year for his work on climate change, insists his goal is achievable and affordable.
"The answer is to end our reliance on carbon-based fuels," he said in a speech in Washington.
"When you connect the dots, it turns out that the real solutions to the climate crisis are the very same measures needed to renew our economy and escape the trap of ever-rising energy prices."
To secure this green revolution, Mr Gore said the single most important policy change would be to "tax what we burn - not what we earn".
-Cold turkey-
Mr Gore's ambitious plan would still rely on nuclear energy for a fifth of America's energy needs. Many see the goal as unachievable.
Robby Diamond, president of a bipartisan think tank called Securing America's Future Energy, said weaning the nation off fossil fuels could not be done in a decade.
"The country is not going to be able to go cold turkey," he told the Associated Press.
"We have a hundred years of infrastructure with trillions of dollars of investment that is not simply going to be made obsolete."
US President George W Bush has often been criticised for not doing enough to tackle climate change.
-Green campaign-
At the recent G8 summit of developed nations in Japan, he did move the US closer to a consensus on climate change, by agreeing to language which makes achieving 50% cuts in greenhouse gas emissions by 2050 a G8 "vision".
The BBC's Warren Bull says that whatever those seeking to succeed Mr Bush in the White House think of Mr Gore's plan, they appear to agree on the need for progress on green issues.
Mr Gore said US presidential contenders Democrat Barack Obama and Republican John McCain were way ahead of most politicians in the fight against global climate change.
Whether their enthusiasm for the environment survives into the White House may be influenced by how much the electorate warms to Mr Gore's vision, our correspondent adds.

Founder of The Weather Channel debunks Global Warming

John Coleman, the founder of The Weather Channel, calls global warming "a fictional, manufactured crisis, and a total scam."
Coleman no longer works for The Weather Channel and is now a meteorologist at KUSI-TV in San Diego. Today, The Weather Channel is in the forefront as a supporter of the global warming theory.
Coleman was on Fox News Channel's Red Eye w/Greg Gutfeld Tuesday night (Wednesday morning) and discussed his thoughts on global warming. Here is the video.

Camp fires blamed for Global Warming
Many cities on America's west coast have now banned camp fires and bon fires because of the carbon emissions the fire gives off into the air.
Come ON!
How are we to roast our marshmallows and hotdogs? The sun's rays?
The things the liberals come up with.

Climate Change and "the uncle"
For most people, climate change and Barack Obama have nothing in common. But when you think about it, it makes perfect sense. Who is pushing this climate change idea? Who is pushing Barack Obama? The Democratic Party, the liberals!
First off, climate change is real. But I do not agree with global warming in the way the liberals say it occurs. We all learned in school that the sun warms the Earth. In fact, we are told to wear sunscreen to protect our skin from the sun's harmful rays. So if the sun is not causing global warming, then what is? The liberals say it is the United States of America, not the Canadians, not the Russians, not the Germans and certainly not the Chinese.
So, explain why there is climate change occurring on planets Jupiter and Mars? It must be the United States' fault. Well, now we know. Here is today's article about the climate change on those planets and the reasoning is that it is due to the sun (that big yellowish ball that makes it daytime and keeps us warm).
In other news, Barack Obama's uncle was a liberator at Auschwitz. It all turns out that his uncle was a Red Commie from the Soviet Union. Wait...
Upon further review, Barack Obama does not have an uncle. Hmmm. It was his great uncle, not his famed uncle. So, his great uncle was the Commie? Nope, he was an American who liberated another camp, named Ohrdruf, a subcamp of the Buchenwald concentration camp. Wow, apparently his family is close! Here is the video and a Reuters story about Obama's Memorial Day boo-boo.
Here is his quote--
If it wasn't for the Republican National Committee, this may have been swept under the rug. At least the RNC is doing something right. In the words of Anderson Cooper, the RNC is "keeping them honest."
