Leader Reid: BP's 'greed' caused oil spil

Majority Leader Harry Reid is not a fan of American capitalism.

He blamed British Petroleum's corporate greed for the Gulf of Mexico oil spill Monday. It sounds about right. He would do that. And yes, BP is partly to blame. But, not solely. But, I don't point the finger, only President Obama does that.

Reid also had to put a cheap shot at Wall Street too. Even though, most of Wall Street is in bed with the Democrats and its progressive agenda that will threaten Wall Street.

What about the government? The Department of the Interior's Minerals Management Service failed to complete its monthly inspections of the doomed Deepwater Horizon, the platform that BP used for its oil drilling. (STORY)

Sen. Reid hasn't ready any Sotomayor's opinions but loves her anyway

Typical Washington. Sad to say. Corruption everywhere. They don't read bills. All they do is vote the way they are told. But who tells them? Not us.

Reid professes his love for Obama

As Sen. Harry Reid is worried about his upcoming 2010 election, he is hoping that professing his love to President Barack Obama will give him a few added votes from the Obama disciples of Nevada.

At a Harry Reid fundraiser in Las Vegas, the senate majority leader boasted that will will receive more than $25 million to keep him in office. Also at the fundraiser, Obama disciples were able to get a picture with the "messiah." It only was a chip-change cost of $29,600. Obama flew in to help Reid raise an estimated $2 million. The price per ticket for the event was $2,400 a ticket.

A Politico article said Reid spoke highly of Obama at the event.

“This man is extremely smart – he can communicate,” Reid said. “But the best part of Barack Obama is his heart is bigger than any heart in the world.”

Obama: Now or never for socialized health care

President Barack Obama is scared, very scared. He wants socialized health care by year's end. I know why. He sees the writing on the wall. The Democrats are in trouble in the 2010 election. Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid, D-Nev., is in danger of losing the election. Obama wants to put this country so far in debt, so we will embrace socialism with open arms.

Now some are saying that a national sales tax could help in the process of getting socialized health care. How nice. Another failed Obama campaign promise. This country is in debt and they keep spending and spending. The Chinese aren't happy with our government spending, you know. When will the U.S. dollar stop being the world currency? We are spending out of existence and the government wants us to have "free" health care. That sounds about right.

Obama to be coronated "messiah" on 100th day of office

Artist Michael D'Antuono's painting "The Truth" will be unveiled on April 29 at New York City's Union Square.

The Democratic "messiah" is here! Obama is today's version of the golden cow. These Democrats have nothing else to believe in since they abandoned God, so they chose Obama as their new idol.

Sen. Inouye: 'If we go down, there will be chaos on this globe'

Sen. Daniel Inouye, D-Hawai'i, has some harsh words to those who are against the stimulus package:

He said these words after the U.S. House and Senate reached a compromise on the stimulus package. He and other Senators made statements, including the three Republicans who are Republicans by name only, Sen. Arlen Specter, Sen. Olympia Snowe and Sen. Susan Collins. But the best moment of the speeches was what Sen. Inouye said. He is priceless.

The Democrats are using these three Republicans as their own puppets and it looks pathetic. They snatched the weak and now they are showing them off to the world as their own.

Sen. Harry Reid and Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi are all gitty right now.

Obama: Pass it now, or we may never recover

I will admit that the United States needs some sort of stimulus to help the economy. But maybe a stimulus that is capitalistic, not socialistic.

President Barack Obama says, no he threatens the Senate to pass his pork bill. What is a reality is that this "stimulus" has little if anything to do with stimulizing the economy.

The US House of Representatives passed their version of the "stimulus" and now Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid wants to pass his version of the "stimulus" to "improve" the economy.

Now, there is some things in this bill that will help the economy, but this is only a small part of the bill. The rest is pork. In fact, the city of Chicago is getting millions from this bill, if it's passed. Why? Is it because Obama is from Chicago and it's a thank you to Mayor Richard Daley?

This bill may put the US economy into a depression. But no worries, Obama will just blame it and everything that goes wrong on George W. Bush. The media will agree. Obama's "quick fix" is just like eating a doughnut. It tastes good when you eat it, but if you don't exercise, you will pay for it later. If you catch my drift.

Daley refuses to release stimulus project list
Posted by Dan Mihalopoulos at 6:40 p.m.

Mayor Richard Daley said today Chicago has compiled a wish list of "shovel-ready projects" to spend federal economic stimulus funds on should Congress approve a plan.

Unlike hundreds of other cities, however, Daley said Chicago won't make its list public.

"Yes, we do, we have our list, we've been talking to people. We did not put that out publicly because once you start putting it out publicly, you know, the newspapers, the media is going to be ripping it apart," Daley said.

"It's very controversial. Yes, we have ready projects from the Board of Education to the City Colleges to the Park District to the CTA and the city of Chicago. Oh yes. Us and New York decided not to do that. We thought we could go directly into the federal bureaucracies and the different departments," the mayor added.

Later, Daley was asked why he wasn't being more transparent.

"Read some of your newspapers. Heh heh," he replied.

I did find a list of possible projects in Obama's stimulus package. This may not be the entire list because the Senate may add some more pork to the deal.

Tax evader approved as Treasury Secretary

Timothy Geithner has been approved to be the next Treasury Secretary. He failed to pay his taxes for more than eight years. He owed the IRS $34,000 in taxes. But he was the only person in the world who understood TARP funds, as the Obama administration and the news media has said. He is the right man for the job. Yet, he doesn't know how to pay his own taxes and he's going to be in charge of the administration that is in charge of the federal tax system. Wow!

After all, it's only a "careless mistake" in forgetting to pay thousands of dollars in taxes. That's what he said and Sen. Harry Reid. Amazing!
