N.H. Gov. signs gay marriage bill

We all knew this was going to happen. Heck, New Hampshire Governor John Lynch, Democrat, was practically cheering it on for months. He practically forced the state's legislature to act on it. Anyhow, the state's citizens had no say in this effort. No vote. No lobby. Well, besides the gay rights groups.

The law will take effect January 1, 2010. The state will become the sixth state to allow gay marriage.

The Episcopalian gay bishop Gene Robinson from the state was outside cheering the news. He has been of some criticism since the denomination made him a bishop. The criticism caused a deep schism in the church.

New Hampshire will be the fifth New England State to allow gay marriage.

States that permit gay marriage:
1. Massachusetts (by court case and then corresponding legislation)
2. Connecticut (by court case and then corresponding legislation)
3. Iowa (by court case)
4. Maine (by legislation) -- as of 90 days after end of June 2009 legislative session
5. Vermont (by legislation, over veto of governor) -- as of September 1, 2009
6. New Hampshire (by legislation) -- as of January 1, 2010

Religion and family values have fallen apart in America's northeast region. These go hand-and-hand with gay marriage, maybe not specifically, but generally. Nobody can deny that in this region of the country.

New Hampshire Gov. backs gay marriage

New Hampshire Gov. John Lynch (Dem.) said he would sign a bill allowing gay marriage if the legislature would pass a bill. Lynch, who claims to be Roman Catholic, does not follow the Church's teachings, as well as the stance of the Apostle Paul in his Epistles in the Holy Bible. Essentially, in my opinion, Lynch is not a Christian.

New Hampshire was once a Republican leaning state with morals and is now falling into Godlessness. Way to go New Hampshire!
