New Arizona immigration law upsets liberals

Arizona Gov. Jan Brewer (R) signed a controversial, to some, immigration bill that authorizes state authorities to request an immigrant's documentation.
The bill was previously passed by the state legislature.
In the law, a person can be asked for documentation by authorities if he or she appears to be an illegal alien.
Part of the reasoning for this law is the ongoing drug cartel war going on in northern Mexico that has spilled over onto the American side of the border on some occasions. In many cases, kidnappings and murders have occurred in the border violence, but President Obama sees a problem with this law. Go figure.
According to the 10th Amendment of the U.S. Constitution, this law is constitutional. However, some, say that this law is unconstitutional, including those in the Obama administration and Rev. Al Sharpton, who only cares because he sees money in this issue.

Here is Sharpton on his radio show that nobody heard on the airwaves:

Obama Administration alienates another country: Canada

Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano seems to be a little confused with her job. All she does is make people think that she is an idiot. She sends out a report calling conservatives "extremists" and now she blames Canada for allowing terrorists into the United States. There was not a single Sept. 11 terrorist who came to the United States through Canada. She also says that the Canadian border security must be equal to that of Mexico's. This upsets many Canadians and Americans. Is there a war going on in Canada, like Mexico's, that we are not aware of?

Today, a Canadian Newspaper "The National Post" from Ottowa said "She appears to be about as knowledgeable about border issues as a late-night radio call-in yahoo." They ask how in the world she got her job. And they are serious.

Later in the day, Napolitano sent out a statement saying "I made a mistake. I know that the September 11th hijackers did not come through Canada to the United States." The curious minds, like myself, wonder if she actually wrote that statement or if somebody else did in her staff. She needs to step down or be fired.

First, President Obama upsets our closest ally by sending back a bust of Winston Churchill and now this with Canada. What is with this administration and alienating our closest friends? Soon the United States will be all alone. This is the change we believe in?

Janet Napolitano talks to CBC News and the Canadians aren't happy with her.

"Assault" on the Second Amendment

Attorney General Eric Holder has done it again. This time he is attacking the Second Amendment. He is proposing a ban on assault weapons in the United States.

Holder says this ban would cut down on the flow of guns from the United States in to Mexico. This may be true, but this is an attack on the Second Amendment. And, with no sales, this would mean that only the criminals would have the guns and the innocent would have no defense against them.

This can be bad, very bad.

Juárez mayor, family flee to El Paso for safety

Drug lords are taking control of Mexico. Now, Juárez mayor Jose Reyes Ferriz and his family fled to El Paso after threats against him and his family from a drug cartel. It is getting bad down there. And, now finally, the U.S. government is admitting that the violence has spilled into Texas. News accounts are below.

Crisis at our southern border

Mexico is falling apart. It wont be long until the drug cartels have more power than the government itself. People are dying at the US-Mexican border, children kidnapped.

Juarez and El Paso are practically war zones. Phoenix is only second to Mexico City for most kidnappings in North America.

Now, universities are telling students to steer clear of Mexico for their spring breaks. After all, the universities don't want to lose any student.

In just the past year in Juarez, 1,000 people have been killed, including 50 police officers. Just last week, the Juarez police chief was forced to resign after a threat said that if he didn't resign, gunmen would kill one police officer ever 48 hours.

Mexico is crumbling. What will happen when it officially goes away? The United States southern border will be over-run by Mexicans fleeing the failed State.
