NBA teams in need of loans
The National Basketball Association approached JP Morgan Chase and Bank of America for a $200 million loan to help keep 12 of its teams afloat. The 12 teams have not been named.
In my opinion, NBA tickets are too expensive. They are expensive because of each team's expenses, which include the roster, management payroll, travel expenses among other things. In all of sports, players are paid too much and this leads to increased ticket prices. And, when a team has a good year, usually the team increases prices.
