During the 2008 Presidential campaign, the Team Obama said all the rumors of Barack Obama's Muslim heritage were lies. Oh, how things have changed since becoming the 44th President of the United States. ABC News Senior White House Correspondent Jake Tapper is wondering the same thing. What is going on here?
Is Obama really a Muslim? Tapper realizes that after the 9/11 attacks, Americans were uneasy about Muslims. So that could be why the campaign said he wasn't a Muslim. The campaign also was against anyone saying the future president's middle name.
Back in April, Obama said to the Turkish Parliament, "I am one of them" referring to being a Muslim. Oh, have the tides turned.
Tapper, keep it up. I want to see you get at this and figure out the truth!
Obama will be in Egypt in a few days.
