Well, it turns out that the National Enquirer was right. John Edwards has finally admitted to having an extramarital affair with a former staffer and campaign filmmaker, Rielle Hunter. As he campaigned for president he has repeatedly denied the rumor of the affair. It is highly unlikely now that Edwards will speak or even be at the Democratic National Convention in Denver in late August. Also it is likely that he will have to forfeit his delegates.
