Obama fulfills campaign promise of wife (a night out on tax-payer money)

The First Lady is one happy woman. Her campaign promise has been fulfilled. President Barack Obama and his wife, Michelle, went out on the town on Saturday. By out of the town, this means a trip to New York City to see a Broadway show.

This Broadway act had a black only director at its casting call. The Obamas flew to New York aboard a Gulf Stream 500. They were not alone. The White House aides and press flew on another Gulf Stream. This is supposedly cheaper than just flying Air Force One with everyone aboard.

Once the Obamas arrived in New York, they boarded a helicopter to Lower Manhattan and then traveled by motorcade to a Greenwich Village restaurant and to the show.

The lovely couple then went to the Belasco Theatre to watch "Joe Turner’s Come and Gone," a play about the sons and daughters of newly freed slaves.

As the Obamas walked into the theater, according to the (London) Times, Obama said to his worshipers, “I am taking my wife to New York City because I promised her during the campaign that I would take her to a Broadway show after it was all finished."

Exactly, what was finished? The end of capitalism? The end of GM? Was this his last campaign promise? I thought he was still after socialized heath care to ruin the future generations in debt.

All the money wasted. Is there nothing to do in Washington, D.C.?

On Monday, the best press secretary of all-time struggled against the biased press:
